Data processed on your device only

Permissions

The app declares permissions that cloned apps may need (camera, microphone, location, contacts, storage, Bluetooth, notifications, etc.). Each is requested only when a clone actually asks for it, through the normal Android permission dialog. The app itself does not use these permissions for any purpose of its own. A foreground service ("Clone engine") keeps clones running while they are open and shows a persistent notification, as required by Android.

Legal basis (UK GDPR)

Who receives data

We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising. Data may be processed outside the UK (for example by Google and Cloudflare) under their standard safeguards.

Abuse prevention, enforcement and legal requests

We use the data described above (device identifiers, IP address, licence, session and payment events) to detect abuse such as copied or forged identities, one licence used on several phones at once, chargebacks and other fraud, and we may do so by automated means. If we suspend or block an account or phone, we keep the minimum identifiers needed to enforce the block and to prevent re-registration (keyed hashes of device identifiers, the account and licence records and related events) for up to 2 years after last use — including after you delete your account — based on our legitimate interest in protecting the service, our users and our business from fraud and abuse. You can ask for a person to review an automated decision by e-mailing us. We may disclose data to the police, courts, regulators or other authorities where we are legally required to, or where it is reasonably necessary to prevent or investigate crime, fraud or security incidents, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our users or others. We do not hold the contents of your clones and therefore cannot provide them.

Web portal and cookies

The web portal and this website use only strictly necessary storage: one HTTP-only session cookie (pic_web, up to 30 days) after you sign in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies.

Your rights

You can access, export and delete your data yourself at the account page of the web portal (https://my.parallelipcloner.com/portal/) — sign in with the same Google account. Deleting your account erases your e-mail and name and unlinks your devices; purchase records stay without personal identifiers. You may also contact us at the address above to exercise your rights (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability) or to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Purchases

The optional VIP subscription (weekly, monthly or yearly; renews automatically until cancelled) is processed by Google Play Billing. You can cancel or manage it at any time in Google Play (Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). We do not receive your payment card details. Each subscription covers one phone.

Third-party apps in clones

Cloned apps are governed by their own privacy policies. Any data a cloned app sends to its developer is between you and that developer. Parallel IP Cloner is not affiliated with the apps you clone.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS. Device identifiers are stored only as keyed one-way hashes; purchase tokens as one-way hashes for lookup and, where renewal checks require the original value, in encrypted form. License responses are signed so they cannot be edited on the phone. Access to the administration system requires two-factor authentication.

Changes

We will update this page when our practices change and change the date above.
